"Ashtanga" Yoga Teacher -2013
I started in the Natural Therapy field following High School in 1992, obtaining my Diploma in Remedial Therapy and after one year I started working in the field. I continued my studies, gaining a Naturopathy Diploma, including nutrition, homeopathy, and iridology. In my fifth year of studies, I started my Honours in Herbal Medicine, which still remains one of my passions. At this time, I also had the honour of working alongside my mentor, George Papas for 2 years and learning about the art of Osteopathy. During my sixth and final year, I started my Post-Grad in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. I have completed a teacher-trainer course in Ashtanga Yoga to better assist my patients with their muscular skeletal injuries. I hope to open up my own Yoga centre in Belmont in the next year!
This has been my complete journey in the field and through many years of experience, it has allowed me to become the complete healer I am today. Working in this field since 1993, I have treated over 20,000 patients and I am still as happy and passionate today as I was then, to be in the Clinicians role, helping many people every day with their personal problems.

My passion for massage and acupuncture came from my own experiences with lower back pain. As something that plagued me for over 10 years, I decided it was time to learn how to fix my own physical ailments. In 1985, I became a qualified Swedish Massage Therapist and since then have developed a strong interest in acupuncture and Chinese medicine. I hold a Diploma in Remedial Massage, an Advanced Diploma in Acupuncture and Chinese Massage. My treatments combine a number of techniques including trigger point therapy, cupping, dry needling, and moxibustion. Over the years, I have seen firsthand the effectiveness of my treatments in relieving pain and stress, assisting in fertility and stopping smoking among my patients.
I have always grown up around rheumatoid arthritis due to my dad having ankylosing spondylitis since his early 20s. So when I was diagnosed with Crohns Disease ( a sister disease to ankylosing spondylitis) and sacrolilitis at age 20, I knew I wanted to work in a field where I could help people with chronic pain. I did a couple of short courses to get a feel for massage and loved it. I even helped to teach massage before taking the next step in furthering my career in this field. When I snapped my ACL 5 years ago, my passion to help other like-minded sports people to stay in the game only grew. There is nothing worse than sitting on the sideline. I am loving seeing the results and the excitement on people's faces when they realise they aren’t going to miss the next grand final! Being a part of National and World cup championship games is something money can't buy. So let me help you get back to your full ability!
Before coming to Australia, I worked for 5 years as a Massage Therapist in a Sport Clinic in Poland. I then moved to the UK and shifted my focus on treating private clients outside of a clinic environment. Since my time in Australia, I have graduated as a Remedial Massage Therapist at the Australian Institute of Fitness and was privileged enough to work with the Melbourne Victory Team during my studies. I use a range of techniques in my massages to assist with rehabilitation and sport injury treatment, including effleurage, sport massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release technique and muscle energy technique. I am passionate about helping my clients achieve health and wellbeing and providing helpful lifestyle and nutritional advice whenever it is sought or required.

Chiropractic has been something that I have always been exposed to, as I have been treated since a very young age. I lived all around Western Australia as I was growing up and it was moving to a new town and getting a new chiropractor at age 14 that I realised that what he did was something I was very passionate about and could see myself doing for the rest of my life. The ability to help someone in so many ways without drugs or surgery is something that has always been appealing to me. Since graduating from Murdoch University in 2013 I have been loving the journey my chiropractic career is taking me on. Seeing just how chiropractic can benefit a range of people – to relieve pain, as a wellness tool or help someone achieve their best potential – brings something new and exciting every day.

My interest in health care started at school as I participated in many sports including cricket, soccer, tennis and badminton. I saw how much of a strain sport can put on the body and had my fair share of injuries. As a student I was also aware of the aches and pains that go along with poor posture and sitting in front of a computer for long periods of time. This prompted me to study Chiropractic over 5 years at Murdoch University. Some of the best memories from my studies include treating staff and artists at the Southbound and Blues and Roots festivals. I also treated over 100 patients in Tom Price and the surrounding remote communities at a free mobile clinic. Outside of my chiropractic passion, I have a keen interest in music. I started playing the violin at the age of 5 and also played saxophone, piano and guitar. My passion as a practitioner is to offer personalised treatment with multiple treatment options and to help people decrease their pain and increase function.
